Is there a free trial?
Yes — we are currently in early access beta, which means all Professional and Business features are completely free. We’ll give plenty of notice before paid plans begin, and you’ll be able to try the paid features before committing.
Can I change plan at any time?
Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you get immediate access to new features. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Your data is never deleted. If you downgrade and exceed the project limit, your extra projects become read-only. You can still access and export everything, you just cannot create new projects beyond your tier's limit.
Do you offer discounts for small practices?
Yes. We offer special rates for sole practitioners and small firms with fewer than 5 staff. Contact us at hello@planningcore.uk and we will find a plan that works for you.
Where does the planning data come from?
All data comes from official public sources: GOV.UK planning statistics, planning.data.gov.uk, Land Registry price paid data, and individual council planning portals. We process and structure this data to deliver actionable intelligence.
Is my project data secure?
Your data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections and stored securely. We never share your project data with third parties. Your planning applications, documents, and analysis are private to your account and any team members you explicitly invite.
